What's coming is much better than what's been!
Hey NATIONS, hope you guys have been enjoying the blogs so far. Lets jump into this topic!
I am about to instill in you this hope, the hope that what is about to happen in this season of your life is going to be the best one yet.Every day until December 31st , I want you to wake up with the expectancy that today could be 'THE DAY'. It is this hope ,but more importantly the belief that the promises of God for your life are yes and amen. That means that whatever was spoken over you in times past,or the prayers you have been praying for weeks,months, years are about to come to pass in the blink of an eye.
I know ,if your are like me, you maybe have one eyebrow up like,oh pls!. I have been hearing this forever and nothing seems to be happening. I feel you and I know, but believe me when I say that this time is different. How do I know ?Because God is intentional and his timing is by no means our timing. When he is getting ready to do something,if you are fully saved, its like every nerve and fibre of your being senses this mighty move of God. Your eyes,ears and even space may look the same but there is something that echoes to your spirit man that lets you know! ITS HAPPENING!
Okay ,you all by now should know my whole entire story and timeline because I try to be as open and as honest as I can. My prayer is that you would never feel alone on this journey of life. So remember that job that I spoke about before, I am scheduled to begin in a week. With my natural eyes,I really don't have all the necessary documents in place yet because the HR process could be intense at times. So guess what happens to me, I begin to doubt,I'm like oh my God ,now another week and I'm not working,lord what are you doing,etc etc etc. Like up to this point,I prayed and sent in everything as timely as I can ,yet....its not the time yet.
Do I continue to question God and whine....nope,instead ,I try my best to be like "God clearly this delay does not mean denial so what are you doing in me and preparing me for right now?"
I spoke on 'The waiting game' in one of my previous blogs so I am not going to emphasize what you do as you wait. But I will emphasize the importance of EXPECTANCY!

A Couple
Married for five years at age 27 and 28 respectively. As a little girl,Cara always wanted to be a mother and would take extra special care of her dolls. Brushing their hair, changing their clothes every single day and pushing them in her pram that her mother bought her. Tim was the first of five boys and was always responsible and caring. He loved taking care of his younger brothers and couldn't wait to have children of his own . Tim's parents knew that he would make an amazing father one day and they were so excited when he met Cara and they got married. The couple spoke about the many children they wanted and even bought a five bedroom home to ensure that they had enough space for the kids they were about to have. One year into their marriage ,Cara and Tim tried and tried to conceive but to no avail.They knew how to care for their wholistic selves as they studied and prepared for this child by reading books,attending seminars and ensuring that their marriage was a happy and stable one before bringing a child into the world. The second and third years of their marriage ,were filled with many doctor visits and the assurance that it will happen if they just keep trying and give it time. By the fourth year both Tim and carey were exhausted,frustrated and on the verge of giving up altogether. One of their friends referred them to a specialist that dealt with infertility and gave Cara and Tim the news that would shatter their hearts. Cara was not producing healthy eggs and Tim's sperm count was low. The couple fell into a state of depression and even contemplated that they were better separated than they were together. Tim while laying on his bed one night, took out one of his favorite story books that he was so eager to read to his offspring. As he opened it ,a paper fell out revealing a drawing of himself ,a girl and five babies. Tim remembered drawing this picture when he was only six years old and he always dreamt of having a big family ,like the one he came from. Anger swelled up in him and he began to cry out to God. 'God did you forget about me,why would you place this desire in me ,if you knew that I was going to get some horrible news? If you knew that I would never be a father? Why would you allow me to go through this?'
God seems silent, his marriage seemed to be falling apart and this picture stared at him ,reminding him of this innate desire that he couldn't seem to shake.....to be a father !
Just as Tim was about to throw the paper away,,on the back of it he saw the scripture Genesis 17. Tim remembered how his parents would always make them draw what they wanted and would place scriptures echoing the promises of God on each of their drawings. Tim grabbed his bible and began to read out loud "Genesis chapter 17 , When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless, that I may make my covenant between me and you, and may multiply you greatly.Then Abram fell on his face. And God said to him, “Behold, my covenant is with you, and you shall be the father of a multitude of nations. No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham,for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make you into nations, and kings shall come from you.
Tim got up and started rejoicing and declaring the very thing that was spoken and declared over his life ,when he was only six years old. His wife ran into the room after hearing Tim's loud procession . She too began praising God in advance, even though she did not yet know what she was praising for.
One month later during one of their usual visits to the doctor. Their doctor came out with the most puzzled look on his face and asked them if they had any procedures done. Worried as to what the doctor was implying,Tim asked what does he mean? The doctor with an almost questioning voice stated
"YOU ARE EXPECTING?"
